DAKK's Founder and CEO

Founder and CEO Anthony Kozlowski, brings over 35 years of combined Police, Fire, Emergency Management, Corporate Security, and Leadership experience to the organization.  Anthony began his public safety career at age thirteen when he joined his local volunteer fire department.  He then spent thirty-three years serving several different municipalities in various Fire Department leadership positions.  At age sixteen, he became one of the first of his age to become certified in his home state as an Emergency Medical Technician. 

After completing college, Anthony began his career in law enforcement where he served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Undercover Narcotics Officer, Regional 9-1-1 Communications Center Manager, Support Services Division Commander, and Chief of Police.  During his tenure as a Police Officer, he served several municipalities as their Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and Counter Terrorism Liaison.  He also served as an Adjunct Instructor at one of the most progressive Police Academies in the Country, where he instructed recruits and in-service personnel in all areas of Law Enforcement including Patrol Concepts, Pedestrian Suspect Approach, Physical Fitness, Physical Training, Unarmed Self-Defense, High Risk Warrant Service, and Active Shooter response. 

Anthony Earned his Master's Degree in Public Administration and has been a faculty member at a New Jersey college for the past nine years as an Adjunct Professor in the Master's of Leadership and Public Administration Program.  There, he teaches Leadership, Organizational Theory, Organizational Communication, Decision Making, Human Resources Administration, Performance Improvement, and Employee Evaluation.

For the past seven years, he has worked for a Community based hospital, managing the day to day Security, Life Safety, and Emergency Management Operations of the facility.  Some of his responsibilities include Security Management, Risk and Threat Assessments, Fire and Life Safety program management, Emergency Management Operations, planning, and exercises, Technology Management, and Security Officer Training.  He also provides staff training in areas such as active violence, workplace violence prevention, infant and child protection, and abduction prevention.

Anthony holds several professional certifications as well as various Law Enforcement training certificates.  Some of these include:

Graduate of the New Jersey State Association of Chief's of Police Command and Leadership Program (previously known as the West Point Command and Leadership Program), Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program, Incident Command System Levels 100-400, Law Enforcement Field Training Officer, Methods of Instruction, and Active Shooter Instructor.
